Updated: 20th July 2020
Bowood’s Adventure Playground is now available to Day Visitors, as well as Season Ticket holders. Access will be controlled in order to maintain a safe environment and provide fair opportunity for access.
Day Visitors must book their tickets online – here. We have initially released tickets for the period 20th July to 2nd August – each Friday, we will release new tickets for the following week. For safety reasons there are limits to ticket numbers and we are expecting day tickets to sell quickly, especially for the weekends, so if you are unable to pre-book your preferred date, please check availability for alternative dates.
All visitors must book in advance, please see below details for HHA Members.
Wristbands will be allocated at admissions on arrival, giving each family the chance to access the Adventure Playground for two hours during the course of their visit:
* Session 1 – 11:15 to 13:15
* Session 2 – 13:30 to 15:30
* Session 3 – 15:45 to 17:45
While the number of children within the Adventure Playground during each session will be limited, this system allows for a larger number of visitors to access the Adventure Playground over the course of a day than if we utilised a one-on-one out system. Nonetheless, we will monitor these arrangements on a day-to-day basis to ensure that we both maximise opportunities for access, while keeping the play area safe.
The following categories of tickets are available to purchase online*:
o Adult (17yrs +) – £13.50
o Senior (60yrs +) – £11.25
o Young Adult (13-16yrs) – £11.25
o Junior (7-12yrs) – £10.25
o Child (2-6yrs) – £8.25
*Family tickets are not available at this time.
As part of the Government ‘Test and Trace’ programme, we will collect contact details for all visitors at Admissions, thank you for your patience and co-operation.
Please note that unfortunately Bowood House, Soft Play, The Den and the Treehouse Cafe will remain closed until further notice. Refreshments are available at the Nosh Box and the kiosk.
