13th September, 2018, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Enjoy a delicious two course lunch in the company of Tom Sunley, Historic Environment Record Data Manager for the Archaeology Service, Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre.
Tom will talk to us about the historic character of Wiltshire’s landscape, studying what elements of previous human activity can be discerned in the present day and what this tells us about the human evolution of the landscape.
He’ll focus on the ways in which archaeologists can characterise the historic aspect of the landscape and how this can be recorded in a digital form for people to use and interpret.
Join us in The Shelburne Restaurant at Bowood Hotel, from 12:30pm, for lunch at 1:00pm, to find out more!
Two courses £25.00.
£5 from each person goes towards the local Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust.
