November 1, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Enjoy a delicious two course lunch in the company of Nicky Alberry, Deputy Lieutenant and High Sheriff of Wiltshire.
Starting her career in 1979, with HSBC in corporate banking and recovery, Nicky was seconded to GWE Business West Ltd in 1991, as part of a management development programme, and 2018 finds her still with the company as a Non-Executive Director.
In addition, Nicky became a Trustee and Director of the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery Trust in 2015, which is charged with taking forward the plans for the town’s new museum and art gallery, and is also the Chairman & Trustee of Swindon Women’s Aid, the Swindon based refuge & domestic violence support service.
She was a founding member of the Swindon Cares Fund Raising Appeal, which has raised almost £300,000 for community and voluntary organisations in Swindon, and is active in the Rotary Club of Swindon, where she was the first Lady President in 2007/8.
Appointed Deputy Lieutenant for Wiltshire in 2006, Nicky became the High Sheriff of Wiltshire during April this year, raising awareness of the problems caused by domestic violence.
