Included within your Day Ticket is access to Bowood House, Terrace Gardens, Grounds, Adventure Playground and The Den. Day Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Opening hours will be: 10:30 – 17:30 with last admissions at 16:30.
Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the Grounds of Bowood House & Gardens.
We offer Disability and their registered Carer day tickets which are discounted at 50% off our standard day ticket prices and can be purchased online. Please show the relevant paperwork at admissions along with your day ticket confirmation email.
SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES HOUR: On the first Saturday of every month throughout the season, we will be opening the Adventure Playground, The Den and Treehouse Café an hour earlier to visitors with additional needs or hidden disabilities. This session is inclusive to immediate family members or carers of those with a registered disability ticket. Opening from 9:30am. Included in your Season Ticket:
Access to Bowood House, Terrace Gardens and Grounds, the Adventure Playground and The Den.
Access to the Woodland Gardens (mid April to 2nd June) is also included. You can visit us as many times as you wish throughout the open season.
On selective dates throughout the open season, between April until September you can purchase a place on an exclusive guided tour.

The Woodland Gardens are now closed and will re open mid April to early June 2025.
A separate attraction with a separate entrance to Bowood House & Gardens. The entrance is just off the A342, Devizes Road, between Derry Hill and Sandy Lane villages.
Only open for 6 weeks during the flowering season. Covering over 30 acres, this garden is an oasis of bluebells, azaleas, magnolias, and rhododendrons. Considered to be one of the most exciting gardens of its type in the country with over 30 hardy hybrids, which were thought to be extinct.
