Bowood House & Gardens is now closed and will open to the public for its 44th year, from 30th March 2019 – 3rd November 2019.

2019 Season Tickets and Gift Vouchers available. Purchase your ticket on the day at the Admission Kiosk or book online and beat the queue. Day Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All visitors with disabilities and their carers/assistants are charged at half the normal admission rate.

Unfortunately, only assistance dogs are permitted inside the Grounds of Bowood House & Gardens.  Students are charged at our normal group rates.

Bowood House, home to the Marquis and Marchioness of Lansdowne, is surrounded by 1,500 acres of Grade 1 listed ‘Capability’ Brown Parkland, the award-winning Walled Gardens and spring Woodland Gardens. The Treehouse Cafe, Stables Restaurant and the Ice-Cream Kiosk.

Relax with a hot drink as the children play in the Adventure Playground. Enjoy a beautiful seasonal buffet in The Stables Restaurant with ingredients from Lord and Lady Lansdowne’s Private Walled Garden. Feel like a picnic? Take away a sandwich or a salad from the Treehouse Café and enjoy within the beautiful grounds.
