The entrance to the House & Gardens is just off the A4, follow the brown tourist signs. You will enter via a White Gate. If using Satellite Navigation, please use postcode SN11 9NF. This is the same entrance for the Adventure Cinema.
Free on-site parking is available. There is designated parking for those with limited mobility which is a very short distance from the event space. If you need assistance, please speak to the Adventure Cinema stewards on arrival and they will be happy to help.
Only working Assistance Dogs are permitted into Bowood House & Gardens. Adventure Cinema does not allow dogs either other than Assistance Dogs.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic and snacks, we kindly ask you take litter home or place in the appropriate recycling bins where appropriate.
Please NO glassware or BBQs. For Adventure Cinema you may bring a reasonable amount of alcohol although we kindly ask you to Drink Responsibly (toughened glass wine/beer bottles are allowed but drinking glasses and other glassware are not). Please take home any glass to avoid injury to children or animals in the natural environment.
Adventure Cinema tickets do not include access the Bowood House & Gardens. If you wish to arrive earlier and visit the House & Gardens grounds please book your ticket HERE.
Please note Bowood House & Gardens opens at 10am last admissions at 4pm, closing at 5pm.
Adventure Cinema is an outdoor event we ask you to dress appropriately for the conditions. Please note that if raining the event will not be cancelled unless weather is considered high risk.
There is no smoking allowed. Unless a designated area has been allocated, please look for signs or ask a Adventure Cinema steward where this is. Please do not drop or leave any cigarette butts or smoking debris (filters, vaping materials) on the ground. This is a fire risk and harms wildlife and litters the beautiful Bowood grounds.
Adventure Cinema is held on short grass with wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities. Disabled parking is usually located close to the screening area. Should you need assistance at the event, please make yourselves known to the Adventure Cinema stewards and they will be happy to help.
