House & Gardens:Bowood's Gardens and Grounds, Adventure Playground and the Outdoor Den are now open for the 2021 Season. Day Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Following Government Guidelines, announced on 22nd February 2021, please view below a summary of the expected opening milestones, all are subject to any changes in the Government Guidelines.

Due to the government restrictions, the Gardens and Grounds are open, together with the Adventure Playground and outdoor areas of The Den. The Treehouse Café is open for takeaways only.
Our Big Spring Adventure Trail will run between 1st – 18th April in the grounds, allowing for plenty of social distancing.
Monday 12th to Sunday 18th April Easter Bunny Trail
Bowood’s Adventure Playground is now open, with 3 timed sessions throughout the day. You must pre-book a day ticket to visit and if you wish to enter the Adventure Playground, book a slot for your child online via our website, in advance.

15.45 – 17.45
Season Ticket Holders are not required to pre-book tickets in advance, or playground sessions in advance. Playground sessions will be allocated on arrival at admissions.
The outdoor area of The Den is also open (no timed restrictions), with its tree wall, ride on tractor trails, and outdoor den building.
The Adventure Playground Ice-cream Kiosk is open.
The Big Spring Adventure Trail enters its final week, with the Easter Bunny Trail running until Sunday 18th April in the grounds.
We will open the Woodland Gardens from Friday 23rd April.
Season Ticket Holders can visit the Woodland Gardens as many times as they wish through the season. Day Tickets for the Woodland Gardens will be on sale shortly.
The Noshbox will be returning to the Gardens, serving teas, coffees, and delicious treats.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are most welcome.
Bowood House and Gift Shop will reopen to the public (subject to final government guidelines).
The Children’s Soft Play will also reopen. The soft play area hosts a range of slides, steps, ball pools, aerial nets plus a designated toddler play area and is suitable for those smaller children up to 110cm only.
We hope to open The Treehouse Café, for inside dining. We will continue to update you as the road map progresses.
We hope to be able to open The Stables Restaurant inside Bowood House, subject to updated government guidelines.
At this time, we may be able to remove all restrictions, however, in the meantime, Bowood is blessed with acres of space and plenty of fresh air for your to enjoy.
