Are you a savvy wine drinker? Or perhaps you’ve always fancied exploring a vineyard in the UK? Either or, a’Beckett’s Vineyard produces some of the UK’s most delectable English wine.
Wiltshire’s largest vineyard was established by Paul & Lynn in 2001 and they offer group vineyard tours and tastings for a very reasonable fee. This is ideal for groups and is only a short drive (or taxi ride!) from the hotel.

Wilton Windmill is the only operating windmill in Wessex and is set in a picturesque location in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Wiltshire.
Being a fully functioning windmill, Wilton Windmill still produces wholemeal stone-ground flour which is available to purchase and the views are quite stunning.

Ramsey Brewery & Distillery is a little further afield from Bowood but is most definitely worth adding onto your trip agenda.
A tour of the brewery and distillery takes around about an hour and gives you a chance to explore behind the scenes and discover how they create their award-winning beers and spirits. They even include a little taster at the end to round off the experience in a merry manner.
