"Everyone at Bowood involved in our wedding was truly amazing from the planning all the way through to the day. Ellen, our coordinator, was brilliant, so helpful and nothing was a problem, even with our guests with many, many dietary issues! She was always in contact when we had questions or worries about the day. She was very friendly, professional and put us totally at ease during the wedding planning process. The day itself was perfect. We were so anxious about the day and how it was going to run with the chaotic windy, rainy, weather but we needn't of worried. Rebecca was brilliant, she ran the whole day around us and adjusted the schedule so we could have a little time to ourselves, get photos over in the hotel, and even some outside when the weather broke after our wedding breakfast. She was lovely, and always had a big smile on her face but very professional and organized. She made sure all we had to do was turn up, smile, and enjoy the day, which we really did. All of the staff at the Bowood Hotel are excellent. Many of our guests mentioned Ben behind the bar and how great he was. The girls behind the reception were so friendly and happy to help us all weekend, they took us back and forth from the hotel to the Kerry suite on our wedding day and drove us around in a golf buggy to get photographs. Seb was also very helpful and friendly. The whole weekend of our stay we felt like celebrities with all staff we spoke to knowing us by name! We couldn't fault a thing and can't praise everyone involved in our wedding enough. It just goes so quickly and we wish we could relive it all. It was the best day ever."

"Where to begin.. our wedding day was the most relaxed, comfortable and beautiful day and the team at Bowood, Ellen and Rebecca raised the bar for expectations. It was the fourth and best place we visited when we started our wedding planning. As soon as we stepped foot on the grounds, it was a very easy yes from us. The landscape made it feel familiar. Getting married in the heart of Spring, yes please was our top priority! Whilst Bowood accommodate for many types of weddings and all year round, we wanted something in spring as we enjoy the warmer cooler months and wanted the summertime feeling with fun festivities and to say they delivered, is an understatement. It honestly was a case of showing up on the day and everything was done for us to an immaculate and beautiful standard. You can see how much Ellen and Rebecca thrive in what they do, the passion and love that goes into their work is something never seen before and we are eternally grateful to them for curating and delivering our special day. One that we will truly never forget. The whole process of coordinating the wedding with the team was relaxed. They brought our vision to life, they are a very easy team to trust. I could break each section down but it would be pointless because all elements of atmosphere, the property and grounds, the food, the smell, the joyous energy, the magic they create, the dedicated duo that are Ellen and Rebecca, everything gets five stars from us. Wedding’s are overwhelming but the pace and relaxed manner of Bowood just puts you right at ease. Somehow they make it feel like home away from home with a sparkle of magic and a whole lot of love.
