Bowood is the perfect place for private Christmas and New Year celebrations, with a range of unique settings for your event. We can arrange private dining from the smallest intimate group of 5, up to a large gathering of up to 200 plus guests.

Private Dining Lunch Menu

£25 per person for two courses or £30 for three
(£15 per child (12 and under) for two courses or £20 for three )

Starters:
Celeriac and stilton soup
Smoked salmon terrine, capers and dill
Chicken liver parfait with chutney and brioche
Carpaccio of beetroot and goats’ cheese mousse

Mains:
Kelly Bronze roast turkey breast stuffed with glazed apricots, roast potatoes and pigs in blankets
Rolled crispy pork belly, creamed savoy cabbage, roasted chestnut and celeriac dauphinoise
Fillet of Bream with crayfish and leek cassoulet, crushed new potatoes
Vegetarian strudel with roasted root vegetables

All dishes served with a selection of seasonal vegetables

Desserts:
Chocolate brownie with Cointreau sauce
Rice pudding with spiced fruit compote
Traditional Christmas pudding and brandy sauce
A selection of cheese and biscuits with Bowood chutney

£38 per person for three courses
(£15 per child for two courses or £20 for three courses)

Confit carrot soup and roasted hazelnut crumb
Duck liver parfait with spiced pear chutney and toasted sour dough
Home smoked salmon with watercress crème fraîche
Girolle mushroom terrine with tarragon dressing

Mains:
Kelly bronze roast turkey breast stuffed with glazed apricots, roast potatoes and pigs in blankets
Honey mustard roast gammon hock, horseradish mash, parsnip crisp and parsley velouté
Fillet of Bream with crayfish and leek cassoulet, crushed new potatoes
Rose harrisa, butternut squash and chestnut puff pastry plait

All dishes served with a selection of seasonal vegetables

Desserts:

Traditional Christmas pudding and brandy sauce
Chocolate and chestnut tart
Baked blueberry cheesecake
