Education and School Visits

Bowood is a haven for children and it also makes for a great educational visit, which fits into the curriculum.

They can explore the House and all its treasures, with a child friendly guide to the artefacts and history of the family, or learn to develop their social and awareness skills by spending time in the exhilarating Adventure Playground.

With the addition of Tractor Ted’s Little Farm at Bowood, we now cater for younger children, giving them the opportunity to learn about the countryside, farming and where their food comes from by watching educational videos and handling farm animals in a purpose built barn.
