Beauty Therapist – Full time
Bowood Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa are looking for an experienced Beauty Therapist to join our busy Spa team.
You should have a minimum of three years experience within the Beauty industry, ideally within a Spa environment. We would expect you to have attained NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy and be competent with massage, facials, hand and nail treatments as well as waxing.

Event Coordinator – Full Time
This is a unique opportunity to join the team at the Bowood as an Events Coordinator. We are looking for an experienced individual to take full accountability for the booking and coordination of a range of events, including conferences/meetings, team building days, Balls/dinners, golf days and weddings. As one of the finest hotels in Wiltshire, Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort offers a contemporary and stylish stay within the grounds of a historic and beautiful country house, boasting stunning views across the Wiltshire countryside.
As the Events Coordinator, you will be based within the Hospitality team and will work closely with our Operations’ team to plan and deliver all events, carry out all administration and communicate with all departments to ensure that your events run smoothly. You will go above and beyond to meet the high expectations of our guests, and as Event Coordinator, you will be the face of the business.
A little about you:
- Proven events experience within a hospitality environment, preferably within a comparable property
- A good understanding of event planning for conference, banqueting, weddings, themed events, special events and Christmas functions
- Exceptional management of client budgets and costs
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal. Easily identify customer needs and communicate effectively throughout the booking process and after the event
- A good knowledge and use of Microsoft packages with the ability to provide all administrative support for all events
- Proven ability in nurturing relationships, who is engaging and takes the initiative to fulfill client wishes to the best of our ability
- Liaises with the hotel operations teams to ensure all event details are confirmed and handed over to meet and exceed client expectations
- Proactively cross sells and up-sells hotel services
- Exceptionally well presented, with an engaging and welcoming manner
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, predominately Monday to Friday; however flexibility will be required to ensure you are able to manage and meet the needs of the events, and therefore there may be the requirement to work some weekends.

Full-time Fitness Instructor/ Spa Attendant
We are looking for an enthusiastic, full-time Fitness Instructor to join our busy and friendly Spa Team.
Reporting to the Spa Manager your duties will include: carrying out fitness assessments, inductions and demonstrations for both new and existing clients. As well as general Spa Leisure duties you will be expected to supervise the pool area including water testing and maintenance.
You should be committed to delivering a high level of customer service and possess NVQ level 1-3 Fitness Instructor Training.
Additional training will be provided in areas such as first aid, pool plant and customer service.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential.
